Level 3 First Aid
at Work Requalification (2 Day)
This course has been developed
for those who currently hold a First Aid at
Work qualification which is due to expire.
The following will need to be considered before
booking onto the course:
As a First Aider you can renew your First Aid
at Work qualification through attending this
course; however, it will need to be within 1
month past the expiry date.
If the expiry date has lapsed by more than 1
month, but no more that 3 months, the First
Aider can apply for ‘Special considerations’
and will be able to requalify by attending this
course.
Special considerations are as follows:
• A signed letter from the employer
confirming the reasons as to why the First Aider
has the experience to attend the course and
does not require the full 3-day First Aid at

• The provider of the training can make a decision
after discussing with the employer or First
Aider and what previous experience they have
to attend a 2-day. If lapsed for more than 3
months then they must attend a full 3-day First
Aid at Work course.
When your certificate expires a you will no
longer be considered competent to act as a First
